They presented a plaque in recognition of their export achievements and discussed the sector's issues.Ali Fuat Gürle, the President of Aegean Furniture Paper and Forest Products Exporters' Association, highlighted that Turkey has risen from the 11th to the 8th position in the global furniture sector. He stated, "In order to fully utilize our potential, cooperation and clustering are necessary in our sector. We believe that only through this way can we increase the added value. For this, a trust environment needs to be established. Our goal is to elevate the furniture sector to the top 5 in the world within 5 years."President Gürle further mentioned, "We believe that not only selling our products, but also establishing proper partnerships and engaging in fair and equal trade can open up opportunities for us. It is crucial to position the Turkish furniture brand perception strongly in the world, maintain our competitiveness, and collaborate against unfair competition threats such as the Far East. As an association, we regularly gather with our companies to discuss the growth strategies of our sector and the issues related to raw materials."
